• Participate in due diligence of investments projects – identify key investment merits and risks, and work in conjunction with third party consultants, if required
  • Perform preliminary analysis of investment opportunities
  • Build, review and analyse financial models, including performing extensive sensitivity analyses, review of financial projections and valuation assumptions, perform valuation and conduct financial and risk analysis of business opportunities and proposals
  • Participate in the preparation of investment recommendation memorandums for investment approval

  • Interface with Legal and Taxation groups in the review of proposed investment structures and closing of transactions

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
  • Possess financial modelling skills, an eye for details, good understanding of capital markets, macroeconomics, and good planning, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Private Equity or M&A business

  • Sales and marketing of Cassava Starch products
  • Develop and acquire new customers from given or generated leads
  • Attend to customers’ enquiries and prepare sales quotations
  • Set objectives and targets, establish marketing and promotional plans with the team
  • Accountable for delivering sales volume and to meet target sales objectives
  • Liaise with relevant parties to coordinate a smooth production delivery
  • To prepare shipping and banking documents, liaise with shipping companies, banks and customers on all shipping and banking documentations

Requirements :

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree Holder
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in soft commodity trading (rice/sugar/flour/cassava starch/corn starch)
  • Well versed in International Trading Rules & Regulations and Shipping procedures
  • Knowledge of Letter of Credit (L/C), Logistics and other relevant trading matters
